Hello Mr Johnson,
I am glad that you have made a bloody good recovery and are giging again.
I have a degenerative something along the length of my spine and I live very near to Wallingford in Oxfordshire. I also have (made infamous by donald trump.) Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenital, Skeletal Dysplasia, Severe Bilateral Club Feet and an horrible selection of other things that make life bloody difficult and painful.
When I saw the poster for your gig in Wallingford, just before my birthday in June, at the Regal – behind the car park – I could not quite believe that it would be you or any other original members of the Feelgood’s whom I first saw back in 1979; bunking off school for the first time to do it. It would have been John ‘Gypie’ Mayo’s first tour with the band. I went on to see that line-up nine times. Soo… Like a bloody idiot I didn’t go to the gig, more fool me.
Unfortunately I never got to see you either with your own band or with the Blockhead’s. (I’m an Honorary Blockhead membership number: 0185).
I see that your band is playing at the Cornbury Festival and very sadly due to my disabilities it would be almost impossible for me to see you perform whilst trying to stand up in a field for a couple of hours. You probably know what I mean when I say ‘When I stand up it f***ing Well Hurts!’
So I would like to wish you Norman Watt-Roy and Dylan Howe an excellent Yuletide, Christmas and thumping good new year.
Thank you for the music and happiness that you have brought me over the years.
With the Very Greatest Respect and Kindest Regards,
Yours truly,
Joshua Brooke.

Hi – Saw you perform on Saturday night at Birmingham. Fabulous set!! I have always been a fan of Dr. Feelgood, and to see you play again live, really brought back all my memories of a misspent youth! Especially as I had my 17 year old son and his mate with me!! Keep on rocking. Mark

Hey Wilko,
I too was at the Barclaycard Arena on Sat 5th, what a brilliant set and you did Dr Dupree one of my favourite tunes – Fan-bloody-tastic, keep up the good work.

It really is unbelievable – a little less than three years ago, I was writing a blog post about Wilko being ill, and seemingly preparing for his last go-round, just a couple of years after losing Mick Green.
Here we are, rarin’ to go, with an album with Roger Daltrey , a new website and new gig dates. It would be nice to see him here in Canada, though (hint, hint).

Time to drop the black suit and wear a white one; like Gandalf after he fought the Balrog. Wilko the White!
All the best
