Wilko will be appearing in conversation as part of the Spring programme of events at the magical Seamus Heaney Home Place in Northern Ireland on April 14th.
Wilko will discuss his acclaimed memoir ‘Don’t You Leave Me Here’ and much more besides. He will be interviewed by Zoë Howe, his co-author on ‘Looking Back At Me‘ and author of ‘Lee Brilleaux – Rock ‘n’ Roll Gentleman’. Expect a truly Feelgood evening!

To be honest, we really don’t need much encouragement to look back on the fabulous night at the Royal Albert Hall in September with the band, Dr John Cooper Clarke and Eight Rounds Rapid, celebrating Wilko’s 70th birthday and 30 years of the Wilko Johnson Band, so here’s a nice review of the evening’s shenanigans courtesy of Rock Society:
We are thrilled to confirm that Wilko will be appearing at the upcoming City Roots festival – associated with Cambridge Folk Festival – to talk about his life in a special live interview at the Cambridge Union Society on 24th February 2018.

Here’s a very entertaining clip of Wilko’s appearance on Vintage TV, which airs today (Sunday 3rd) at 5pm! Sure to be unmissable – but if you DO miss it, it’s repeated on September 7th at 10.30pm! You lucky people.
The first episode of Sky Arts series ‘Rock and Roll’ airs in the UK tonight (Friday September 1st) at 9:00PM on Sky Arts Channel.
Wilko is one of the luminaries featured in the series and will feature and perform in episode 3, to be aired on Friday September 15th. This particular episode also features the likes of Jerry Lee Lewis, Wanda Jackson, Lloyd Price, Eric Burdon, Carly Simon, Jimmy Van Eaton, Steve Earle and Charles Connor.
If you want to catch the series in full, it will be available as a box set on Sky Go and Sky On Demand after 11:00PM on Friday 1st September. For broadcast, the remaining episodes will TX at the same time each Friday for the run of the series.
